What is this Holiday for?
Do you know that Strawberry Ice Cream has it’s own holiday? It may be a little known holiday but it is a great Food Holiday that deserves to be celebrated with a bowl of strawberry ice cream with family and friends. History tells us this was one of the first flavors ever created in the ice cream industry. Impressive, isn’t it? In a documented paper way back in1744, we learned that Maryland Governor Thomas Bladen began serving strawberry ice cream to impress his house guest.
So in honor of the Holiday, enjoy an large bowl of ice cream!
